Qigong Tai Chi

Join us to learn and practice Tai Chi in the tranquil and beautiful Tower Hill Botanic Garden to bring body, mind, and spirit into harmony.  Tai Chi is a sequence of fluid movements that derive from the Chinese martial arts.  The practice of Tai Chi develops balance, centeredness, alignment, flexibility, and inner physical, mental, and emotional strengths.  It is clinically proven to be one of the most effective ways to improve health and fitness.  Classes include full body strengthening and stretching, posture, breathing techniques, Tai Chi forms, and their applications.  In addition Qigong will be taught to further enhance general health.  Qigong is a mind-body practice that improves one's mental and physical health.  Participants should wear loose comfortable clothing.

Rose Lee has been teaching Chinese martial arts for more than 20 years in fitness clubs, retirement communities and senior centers. She is an inspiring enthusiastic instructor.
