Join one of our Wild Hideaways artists to learn the art of basket weaving. In this workshop, students will weave a small reed basket in a traditional Polish tatza basket pattern. Usually made from willow, we will be using hand-dyed rattan (reed) in a small diameter for a lovely basket suitable for display and use with fruit, rolls, cookies and the like. Students will receive a printed pattern and a choice of colored reeds. All participants will take home the 8.75" diameter, 2" high basket. All materials will be provided except what is listed below.
